Frying gherkins is simple and easy to do, from time to time you might some odd veggies deep-fried, but trust us, the pickle juice and batter made with garlic powder creates a great combination. 

We've listed the detailed steps for you to follow below. 

  • Step one - In a shallow bowl add your flour Italian seasoning garlic powder, salt and some black pepper then mix.
  • Step two - Pour some water and hot sauce into the plain flour garlic powder mixture then mix until moist.
  • Step three - Cut the gherkins into round slices then dry them on a paper towel, while drying add your oil into your pan for the fried pickles on medium heat. 
  • Step four - Once the oil is heated add the pickles in one by one then fry for around 4 minutes until they turn golden brown, you can re-use this oil after by filtering it.
  • Step five - Remove with a slotted spoon from the oil and place on paper towels.

Tips For The Best Fried Gherkins

As you can see, deep-frying gherkins is a simple task and can be served with dips or as a side dish with meals such as kebabs.
