About The Fryer Guide

I'm Sunny Patel, a UK SEO consultant, and I own a Ninja Foodi multi-cooker (pressure cooker and air fryer combo). Most air fryer cooking time pages give you one number with no idea where it came from. The Fryer Guide shows each brand's published figure separately instead, with a link to the source behind it.

How the figures on this site are gathered

Every cooking time and temperature on this site comes from a manufacturer's own instruction manual, quick start guide, brand chart or recipe booklet, and core temperatures come from the Food Standards Agency's published guidance. The one exception is the gas mark table on the converter, which is taken from B&Q's published oven conversion table and labelled as such. Every figure was retrieved on 27 September 2026, and every page links directly to the document or article it came from.

  1. Check whether a brand publishes a cooking chart, recipe or cooking-tip article for that food. If it doesn't, that brand is left off the page and this is stated rather than guessed at.
  2. Record the brand, model, temperature, time, quantity and any shake or turn instruction exactly as the source states it.
  3. Show every brand's figure side by side as a range (the lowest to the highest across all sources), rather than averaging them into one number.
  4. Mark clearly whether a figure is a genuine verbatim quote from an article or manual, or a reconstructed row taken from a table or chart.
  5. Pair every food with the relevant Food Standards Agency guidance: a core temperature figure for meat, poultry and sausages, or the FSA's opaque-and-flakes wording for fish. No numeric food-safety figure is given for potatoes and chips, because none of the sources used here provide one.

What I have not done

I have not cooked or tested any of the foods on this site's cooking time pages myself, and no page claims that I have. I own a Ninja Foodi multi-cooker (the exact model number is still to be confirmed), but that ownership is not used as evidence for any specific time or temperature published here; every figure on a food page is attributed to the manufacturer document or article it actually came from. Where a brand's own documents disagree with each other, or a commonly repeated claim about a brand could not be verified on that brand's own site, this is stated on the page rather than resolved by guessing.

Philips was checked for this site but is not included as a source: its UK cooking-tip articles were no longer reachable at stable URLs when checked on 27 September 2026, so their figures could not be independently verified by a reader.

Affiliate disclosure

This site does not currently carry any affiliate links. If affiliate links are added in future (for example, to a specific air fryer model), they will be clearly labelled as affiliate links at the point they appear, and this section will be updated to say so.

Corrections

If a manufacturer updates a manual, or you find a figure on this site that no longer matches the source it's linked to, that's worth knowing about. Sources are checked and re-checked over time rather than published once and left alone.
