Fried Mushrooms Without Breadcrumbs 

Ingredients 

  • Fresh tarragon and thyme. 
  • Peppercorns.
  • Two garlic cloves. 
  • White wine vinegar. 
  • Olive oil.
  • Flour.
  • Mushrooms. 
  • Lemon.

Method

  1. Make your vinegar mix with your tarragon and thyme, allow it to steep then fill your pan with some olive oil and start to heat it.
  2. Put your flour on a plate with some seasoning and zest of a lemon, cut the mushrooms up and put some water to keep them moist.
  3. Deep fry your mushrooms portion by portion, this should take around 4 minutes then take from the oil with a slotted spoon and serve with your vinegar! 

Deep-Fried Mushrooms With Breadcrumbs

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour.
  • Pinch of salt.
  • One egg.
  • One cup of water.
  • Mushrooms.
  • Two cups of oil.

Method

  1. In a bowl mix your flour and water then the egg, heat your frying pan on high heat with the oil and make sure it's sizzling.
  2. Put the mushrooms in the batter then into the oil and fry until golden brown, remove and put on paper towels.
