Size and thickness adjustments
Ninja's jacket potato chart is based on four whole potatoes of 185 to 250g each, pierced with a fork three times and brushed with 1 tablespoon of oil: 36 to 40 minutes for white, 32 to 40 minutes for sweet. Salter's four whole potatoes, also pierced, take 38 to 42 minutes. Instant's much longer 45 to 60 minute figure sits well outside those, and none of these sources state the weight used for it, so the gap is likely size-related rather than a genuine method difference.
Browning and doneness
None of the manuals give a food-safety temperature for a jacket potato; check it's done by piercing with a knife or skewer, which should meet no resistance.
Instant's 45 to 60 minutes is higher than every other jacket potato source at the same 200°C setting; Ninja's own comparison page gives 30 to 40 minutes for the same food, the shortest figure in The Fryer Guide source set. Neither source states potato weight for these two figures, so treat the shorter time as a starting point for a smaller potato and check with a skewer before assuming it's done.
