How Long to Cook Pork Chops in an Air Fryer (UK Times by Brand)

TEMP
180-200°C
TIME
10-20 MIN
CORE
75°C

Bone-in (Ninja, quick start guide): 12-13 min

75°C for 30 seconds is one of the FSA’s safe core combinations (standard: 70°C for 2 minutes).

Manufacturer charts for pork chops range from 180 to 200°C for 10 to 20 minutes, for boneless chops between 100g and 600g. Ninja's own quick start guide gives a separate, slightly longer figure for bone-in chops, shown apart from this range rather than blended into it. The Fryer Guide lists every brand's exact figure below.

Based on 5 manufacturer sources. Figures last checked 27 September 2026. See the full list of manuals and articles used on this site on the about and methodology page.

  • Cosori (Iconic (different model - reference only)): Chart row: Pork Chops (Bone-In) 450°F 8-16 min, Flip source

Cosori's Iconic web chart gives boneless and bone-in pork chop figures at 450°F (about 232°C), but Cosori states the Iconic chart applies to that model only, not the Pro LE, Dual Blaze or L501 models used elsewhere on this site, so it's shown here for reference rather than blended into the range above.

Fresh vs frozen

None of the sourced charts on this page give a separate frozen pork chop figure. Cook from fresh, or check your own air fryer's manual for a frozen adjustment before using the times above.

Size and thickness adjustments

Ninja's quick start guide gives 10 to 12 minutes at 200°C for four boneless chops (100g each), and a separate 12 to 13 minutes at 200°C for two bone-in chops (250g each). Tower's two manuals give a wider 100g to 600g weight range at 180°C: 10 to 15 minutes on the T17082 and 15 to 20 minutes on the T17149. Instant's chart gives 10 to 12 minutes at 180°C with no weight stated.

Browning and doneness

Pork can have bacteria all the way through the meat, the same as poultry, so chops need to be cooked all the way through rather than served pink. This site shows 75°C on the readout panel, the FSA's 75°C for 30 seconds figure, one of the combinations equivalent to its main 70°C for 2 minutes standard.

Where brands disagree

Ninja's own quick start guide gives two different figures depending on the cut: 10 to 12 minutes at 200°C for boneless chops, and 12 to 13 minutes at 200°C for bone-in chops. Tower's two manuals disagree with each other by 5 minutes at the same 180°C. None of the sourced charts explain the gap, so check chops are cooked through with a food thermometer if in doubt.

Frequently asked questions

What temperature should pork chops be cooked at in an air fryer?

Sourced figures range from 180°C (Tower, Instant) to 200°C (Ninja), for 10 to 20 minutes depending on chop size and thickness.

How long do bone-in pork chops take in an air fryer?

Ninja's quick start guide gives 12 to 13 minutes at 200°C for two bone-in chops (250g each), a minute or two longer than its boneless figure.

Do pork chops need turning in an air fryer?

None of the sourced charts on this page state a shake or turn instruction for pork chops; check your own air fryer's manual.

Why do pork chop times vary so much between sources?

The charts cover different weights, from 100g to 600g, and different cuts, bone-in and boneless, so check chops are cooked all the way through with a food thermometer rather than by time alone.
